-Let's start with the serious stuff:Bernie Mac died today, because of complications from pneumonia. He was a gifted comedian figure, and only 50 years-old.I was quite shocked to read about his death.Very, very sad news...
May he rest in peace.
Well, this was my useless contribution for the day!I'm now off to watch La Femme Nikita,my favorite show of old times...Catch you all later!!
May he rest in peace.
-Yesterday,I visited a friend in my neighborhood for a little coffee break.I did it because I had missed her,not because it was a very hot day and she has air-conditioning and I don't .Did I just write that?Anyway.I'm trying to stay BSG-light the last days(Katee's latest inty is still a traumatic memory I'm trying to push behind),but I get no help from nowhere.Bad luck, you know?'Cause I'm at my friend's,enjoying the cool temperature and the tv is on:a local channel that was,at the time, showing "Charmed".Now,I have watched that occassionally, but was never a big fan of the show so I wasn't really paying attention to the tv.Then this guy shows up:

Yes,it's who you think it is.
Not bad-looking,for sure, but not quite as attractive as he is now,was he?And this show must be like...10 years ago.
*sigh* Sometimes I hate men.How they get so much more handsome with age is beyond me!
At the same time, women just get wrinkles as they grow old.So un-fair.

-Also,I found this floating all over the net.I never like Paris Hilton(and I still don't),but I found this to be rather funny(You asked for it,white-haired dude John!).
-The Olympic games officially started yesterday and God,was the opening ceremony impressive or what?I really liked the ideas in it,the way the Chinese emphasized on their culture and history of centuries while showing off(in a good way) the huge dimensions of their country.
I wish we could have skipped that though, because the Olympics idea is all about the celebration and the high purposes and nobility and peace...and tragic incidents like that ruin the feeling of it.I also wish tere wasn't so much ugliness surrounding the Thibet case, but unfortunately,I'm pretty sure there will be no chance for the better in this situation any time soon...
Back to the Games,I have not many high hopes for my country(if there's still anybody left who has not been found positive in doping control *sigh*) but I hope to see many great athletes from all over the world impress with their performances and records!
